32 miles from Sacramento, in the heart of the Motherlode, lies Auburn.

Fair offer you a historic yet modern setting for your next gathering.
The facilities at the Gold Country Fair are varied and represent one of
the biggest values in Placer County. There are four buildings ranging
from 1,300 sq. ft. to 12,000 sq. ft. available for trade shows, collectors
shows, banquets, dances, wedding receptions, club meetings, etc. Three
of these buildings are equipped with kitchen facilities, three with stage
and sound system.
Eight different outdoor areas
can accommodate everything from large concerts to quiet picnics. McCann
Stadium hosts the Auburn Wild West Stampede Rodeo. Speedway Motorcycle
Races, concerts, the Western States Endurance Ride, the circus and the
Gold Country Fair. With a seating capacity of 2,400 in grandstand seats,
8,000 in concert seating, McCann Stadium is a great place to hold almost
any large outdoor event, horse or livestock show. Also available are 94
livestock stalls, 66 horse stalls and a horse arena. Religious events,
concerts, trade shows and company picnics will find the main lawn area
meets their needs. Farrell Wrenn Park is a beautiful area for wedding
receptions, dances and picnics. Gold Country Court offers trailer groups
a unique setting. Parking lots are available for flea markets and car
rallies. Other unique features of the Gold Country Fairgrounds are the
Forestry Gazebo and Nature Walk, along with the Auburn Historical Museum
where you can actually pan for gold, plus view the State Fair Exhibits.
Within walking distance is
Historic Old Town, the oldest gold rush town in California, full of rich
heritage, unique shops & restaurants.
